Leonardo's Horse // Leonardo da Vinci
Product Description
A legendary figure across art, anatomy, engineering, and more, Leonardo da Vinci (c. 1452 – 1519) was an Italian polymath of the Renaissance. He has been variously called the father of palaeontology, ichnology, and architecture, and is widely considered one of the greatest painters of all time (despite perhaps only 15 of his paintings having survived). Leonardo's paintings, preparatory drawings, and copious notebooks of sketches, scientific diagrams, and thoughts on the nature of painting represent one of the largest contributions to later generations of artists, rivalled only by that of his contemporary Michelangelo.
