Ferrand Cognac 1840 Original Formula

Ferrand 1840 Original Formula is a revival of the Ferrand Classic 3 Star Cognac and is made up of eaux-de-vie produced from vines located at Angeac, Grande Champagne, the best planting region of the Cognac area. Distilled in the typical Alambic Charentais and aged in Limousin oak barrels, this Cognac is characteristic of its Premier Cru and reveals in harmony - floral fragrances, fruity flavors alongside delicate hints of spices.

Valuing innovation and a hands on approach, Ferrand takes pride in bringing new life to ancient Cognac techniques and traditions through the sheer passion its team dedicates to creating quality Cognac products. Presentation of the bottle

Inspired by a Pinet Castillon Cognac from 1840, this blend embodies the traditional style of this old Cognac, while maintaining the contemporary brand image, in keeping with other Cognacs in the Pierre Ferrand range. With a long neck and a heavy base, its presentation is sure to stand proud alongside other spirits in a collection.

NOSE
— A Cognac that offers notes of ripe, juicy grapes which are complemented by hints of meadow flowers and notes of acacia tree blossom, alongside a bracing hint of cedar

PALATE
— Warm with fruity flavors yet still very clean. The finish reveals the taste of honey and spices
