Antique Aluminum Guitar Pick
Product Description
This standard 1.25mm 351 style Antique Aluminum Guitar Pick has been handcrafted from 1940's WWII era aluminum by Master Artisan Guitar Picks in Nashville, Tennessee. Upcycled from WWII era hand-wrought aluminum, this plectrum is extremely light in the hand, and produces a punchy attack with a 'mid-range' tonal palette full of volume. Every pick is one-of-a-kind, with its own unique pattern and coloration. The use of metal guitar picks began in the late 1800's when acoustic guitarists started using coins as plectrums due to their availability, volume and tonal properties. Contemporary players such as Eddie VanHalen, Billy Gibbons, Brian May, Rickey Medlocke, Phil Collen, and many others regularly use metal guitar picks to enhance the tone of their own distinct guitar performances and recordings.
