Marc Chagall was a Russian-French-Jewish artist with international recognition. He was considered one of the most influential modernist artist of the 20th century dabbling in a variety of mediums. From painting and illustrations to ceramics and working with stained glass, Chagall forged his creative path in spite of many difficulties and injustices he faced throughout his lifetime.
