Product Description
The Maine Knife Company makes highly collectible knives in extremely limited production runs. Each knife is individually numbered and comes in a handmade-in-Maine pine box with solid brass hardware and the Maine Knife Company logo branded on the box.
You'll also receive a numbered certificate of authenticity, a hand-signed and numbered design drawing, a Maine Knife Company collector's coin, a lifetime transferable warranty, and a Maine Knife Company Gold Card, along with a Holographic authenticity seal.
The Defender is limited to 100 pieces, each individually numbered, and each one comes with a special holster that allows for vertical or horizontal carry. It's designed for easy and comfortable concealed carry and self-defense, and compact in size, coming in at 7 inches in total length.
The specially-designed handle is contoured to provide a secure and stable grip using either hand and during most any situation or weather condition, and the blade is made of high-quality D2 steel, honed to a razor sharp edge and tip.
The Defender has the cutting edge extended the full length of the underside of the blade and a specially-designed double sided curved tip at the end of the blade. This dual sided curved blade tip gives the user the security of knowing the knife can be used bi-directionally and still be effective, especially in any self defense scenario.

About the Designer
JP Nickerson has lived in the great state of Maine his entire life. As a young boy he spent a lot of time in the Maine woods with his father, who was a registered Maine Guide. As he grew into adulthood JP began collecting knives. JP has collected, bought and sold knives from all over the world for over 25 years. JP uses his decades-long study of the industry to create a unique collection of knife designs for the Maine Knife Company. Working out of Bangor, Maine, JP puts a tremendous amount of time into the design of each Maine Knife Company knife. JP also takes pride in giving back to the veteran community. JP insists every Maine Knife Company knife comes with a transferable lifetime guarantee and purposely limits the production run of each knife made by the Maine Knife Company to a small quantity. Each knife is individually numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity and a hand sign design print of the knife autographed by JP Nickerson himself.
