Is this a brand new watch in the original box with papers and full manufacturer’s warranty?

All Luminox timepieces sold through Touch of Modern are factory new and shipped in a new box with all documents within. The full 2 year international warranty is provided from date of purchase.

Does this watch use a battery?

The Swiss quartz movement is powered by a battery with an expected life span of 2 years.

How does it light up? Does it need sun light to illuminate?

The always visible LLT (Luminox light technology) does not require a power source or sunlight. The tritium gas tubes illuminate at all times, however visible in darkness. The tritium tubes will illuminate for 25 years, Luminox always visible.
