Product Description
This Lumi® Sunfold™ Printing Kit gives you everything you need to harness the sun and create elegant patterns on any natural fabric. Using Inkodye, a new water-based dye that develops and fixes in sunlight, it the hassle out of tie-dye. Ideal for groups, this kit makes at least 16 prints of 12x12". You can even dilute the Inkodye with up to 10 parts water to extend its power and create pastel shades.
Simply soak fabric with Inkodye in a bowl or bucket, scrunch or fold the fabric using the included pattern ideas — or whatever your heart desires — and expose it to sunlight for 10-20 minutes (or until the color reaches full saturation). Once you machine wash your fabric using Inkowash to remove unexposed dye, you're good to go.

About the Designer
Jesse Genet is the founder of Lumi and the maker of Inkodye. Now 26, Jesse has been developing and experimenting with printing processes since she was 16 years old. The Inkodye process was inspired by her love of photography and desire to make beautiful prints without expensive equipment. With Inkodye, Lumi is pioneering a new DIY process for printing clothing and accessories using sunlight.
