How long does it take to cool down? What about storing it right after you are done? Does it come with a cradle or a way to store it safely?

The "heat shield" surrounding the Looft Lighter (with all the holes) is made of aluminum just for the purpose of cooling it down quickly, which takes around a minute or so. Under the Looft Lighter there is a "foot" so you safely can put it down, or hang it on a hook. The foot is also shaped as a beer opener. Using the Looft Lighter is easy, quick and safe, it's just super heated air that ignites charcoal, briquettes or wood in 60 seconds without any lighter fluid or gas!
