Rally Fighter

The Rally Fighter was born of the Local Motors’ global co-creation community. The community is made up of enthusiasts, hobbyist innovators and professionals. Designers, engineers, and makers all contributed their ideas to concept, develop and improve on the birth of the Rally Fighter. The winning design from the community was submitted by Sangho Kim, a 2010 graduate of Art Center of Design in Pasadena. After Sangho's design submission there was immediately an overwhelming amount of positive feedback, and the community demanded that the vehicle be moved to production.

Rally Fighter looks like a race car, but rides like a luxury vehicle, featuring a rugged tube chassis construction complemented with all the requisite creature comforts. This 50-state street legal off-road desert racer is at home on the open road, the daily commute, and on the most challenging desert terrains. Rally Fighter purchase involves a build experience that includes the required participation of you, the owner. With either a Mon-Fri or two three day block, the build time with completion is estimated to be 6-8 weeks post customer build time.
