The ultimate symbol of adventure and exploration, the sailboat is one of man’s oldest means of transportation. Powered only by the wind and ingenuity, these crafts have been the vehicles of conquerors, fishermen, traders and sportsmen. These letterpress prints were made in Atlanta, Georgia, by a craftsman who individually rolled 110-lb, all-cotton paper onto custom plates — giving them a deep, crisp imprint. They were then duplexed with a second sheet to create a 220-lb finish.
