Meat cleavers have very thick blades that aren't very sharp, making them perfect for cleaving through gristle, fat and bone. The cleaver features a hardened, tempered high-carbon stainless steel blade and durable walnut handles. Its half-tang construction is secured with brass rivets, and Lamson is so confident of its durability and reliability that they offer a lifetime warranty on the cleaver.
