Product Description
The Bunka Santoku is the more traditional equivalent of the Santoku: a versatile knife ideal for chopping vegetables and fruits, slicing through meats, and preparing fish (everything except bones and frozen foods). Just like the common Santoku, the Bunka Santoku has a tall and flat blade profile; however, their blade tips are shaped very differently. Bunka knives are recognizable from their “reverse Tanto” profile, also called “K-tip,” which makes them more precise than a classic rounded blade.
The Bunka Paring knife is the most-used knife in a kitchen, right after the chef knife or Gyuto. While almost everything on the cutting board can be done with the chef knife, all precise, off-the-board cutting tasks are performed with the paring knife.
The Kotai Sharpening Set includes everything you need to keep your knives working like new—a double-sided 400/1000 grit whetstone with anti-slip bamboo base, flattening stone, and 15 degrees angle guide. Now you can restore your blades to their original sharpness with ease.
