Designed to work exclusively with the iPhone 4, 4S, 5, 5S and 5C, you can use the Pivot with your phone in both portrait or landscape mode. Either way, you get enhanced passive acoustic amplification for your favorite music or video. The Pivot works with many of the most popular cases (up to 1/2” thick), but it also operates without a case. The crisp geometric form and rich cherry wood is a natural compliment to your iPhone.
**American Cherry is a highly prized hardwood known for it’s beautiful pinkish-red coloration, which mellows to a deep warm amber tone over time. It is relatively hard and thus finishes to a very smooth surface feel. Cherry has occasional “pith marks” which are small darker spots or streaks that run randomly throughout the tree. These are natural characteristics in the wood.

About the Designer
When prototyping the first Koostik product, designer Jim Simon worked with various materials (including styrofoam!) to come up with the perfect way to amplify the volume of the iPhone's external speaker. After he began working with wood, he reached a balance between aesthetic desirability and extreme functionality. He came to the design the company now calls "The Original," and Koostik, the company, was born. All of Koostik's woods are sourced from suppliers who practice careful management for sustainability, and the natural beauty of the wood speaks for the high quality of the product.
