Carbon fiber is a combination of durable weave fabric and strong epoxy glue. Together, the two create an incredibly strong yet lightweight material. It's commonly used to build airplanes, car parts, and other equipment that undergo stress. When used to make guitars, it requires less internal bracing which ultimately allows it to resonate more freely. Some even say the sound is louder and more clear than traditional wood guitars.
