The Geodome is inspired by the Kittypod studio/office and, of course, Buckminster Fuller's geodesic dome design. This stackable habitat is made of superior-grade, recycled cardboard, and features two kitty-shaped entry points. With a reversible, interior scratchdeck for clawing and nesting, the Geodome includes a bird-pattern design and a slotted Kittypod toy. Generously proportioned and easy to assemble, the Kittypod Geodome is an [miniature] architectural structure to both function and impress your friends.

Elizabeth Paige Smith

Elizabeth founded Kittypod in 1998. Over the years, before and after Kittypod, Elizabeth has used a vast range of media to express her ideas. From design to sculpture; photography to film, light and environment are key aspects to the atmosphere, form and function of her pieces. Her extensive body of work has been featured in various exhibitions and museums: the LACMA, the MOCA, the Smithsonian Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum, San Jose Museum of Contemporary Art and Pasadena Museum of Contemporary Art. Her work has also been featured in the New York Times, LA Times, throughout the US, Europe, and Asia in all kinds of leading cultural magazines.
