Does this kill viruses?

This product does not make the claim that it kills viruses, however does make the claim that it kills 99.9% of germs and bacteria in 5 minutes. CleanTray uses UV light of a certain wavelength to destroy the molecular structure of DNA or RNA in microbial cells, causing the cells to die. This type of sterilization causes no known side effects or secondary pollution.

How often do you have to change the UV?

The UV Bulbs fitted in the CleanTray are 2W, with a lifespan of 10,000 hours, which in general will last about 3-5 Years.

Does this kill COVID?

CleanKey kills 99.9% of germs and bacteria in 5 minutes. Specific viruses have not been lab tested with this product, so the claim that this kills Covid-19 cannot be made.

Is the oil important to sanitizing items being cleaned?

The oil is an additional featured, but not required in order to sanitize the contents.
