The Chiseler Stool is a shaker-inspired piece which participates heavily in the aesthetic of hand-crafting and making. The story of this stool is told by the tink-tink of a hammer and the scrape of razor sharp steel. It has copper inlay and a sensuously rustic feel.

"After following NY design (from afar), especially Brooklyn design, my wife and I left Austin (her 8 months pregnant) to pursue careers in design and making. I quickly found a job cleaning and organizing Brooklyn designer Andre Joyau’s basement. I’d barely held a tool in my life but over the next year and a half I would gain exposure to carpentry, finishing techniques and sheer design cajones to break from Andre and start my own business with my wife. We love arguing (collaborating) and bringing our unique dreams and ideas to life. From the abyss of imagination comes tangible delight."
