The KAZbrella is the result of engineered innovation. With its patented technologies, it is the only umbrella in the world that turns its frame completely inside out.

Designed by an aeronautical engineer, the unique shape of its internal canopy is aerodynamically designed to minimize the upward wind force, so it easily opens and closes in confined spaces - making it particularly useful when getting in and out of a car. Best of all, this design means the wet side of the canopy closes upon itself, it contains any residual water, leaving it dry to the handle.

The KAZbrella’s unique movable tips and tensioning system are also optimized for performing well in the wind. In the unlikely event that the KAZbrella is blown inside out, it can be restored back to it original shape by the touch of a button.

Jenan Kazim

Jenan Kazim, was born in Cyprus in 1955 and as a boy he had a keen interest how the things around him worked. Jenan graduated from Loughborough University as an Aeronautical Engineer and completed his Masters Degree in Civil Engineering at the City University, London. Having a successful career as an aeronautical and offshore engineer, Jenan has applied his knowledge to his invention. Precise engineering and mathematical equations are used to ensure the KAZbrella outperforms a conventional umbrella whilst keeping its familiar aesthetics and usability. This has not yet been achieved by any other umbrella designer. Jenan now works in the KAZbrella office with his wife and daughters developing new innovations.
