Product Description

Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849) is perhaps the best-known Japanese ukiyo-e painter and printmaker of the Edo period. He completed an astounding 30,000 works throughout his lifetime, many of which are now considered the most iconic examples of Japanese art. Hokusai's depiction of landscapes and ability to capture everyday life in Japan would greatly influence the Impressionist movement in Europe, most notably his 36 part woodblock series “Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji” (1831).

Filled with lush imagery and striking yet subdued color palettes, this fine art print of one of the master's remarkable works will infuse any space with a serene, natural aesthetic.
