Journey Instruments

Journey Instruments was started back in 2011 by Rob Bailey, who discovered that his desire to play guitar every day often clashed with travelling frequently for business. Who knew that traveling with a full-sized guitar could be so much trouble? Over 300 hours of market research and development later, Rob worked with his team of in-house mechanical and carbon fiber engineers to design and patent the Overhead collapsible travel guitar system. James Brawner, his good friend from college, joined the project as a partner in late 2012 and they brought the product to market at NAMM in 2013. They're a small team, but they're passionate about making sure musicians never have to leave their guitar behind ever again.
