Joseph A. Magnus was a pre-prohibition whiskey magnate who bottled his first spirit in 1892—advertising his Murray Hill Club Whiskey as a "particular spirit for particular people." Despite great initial success, Prohibition forced Magnus to pause production and the recipe was unfortunately lost. Nearly a century later, one of Magnus’ great-grandsons discovered a few carefully preserved bottles of 122-year-old whiskey tucked away and forgotten. The family gathered the top industry veterans who could taste, test, and reproduce the lost recipe for one of the greatest bourbons they had ever tasted. Today, Master Blender Nancy Fraley uses the same blending and finishing techniques Joseph Magnus employed over 125 years ago to produce a highly-acclaimed spirit as close as possible to the original.

The Triple Cask Straight Bourbon is a marriage of straight bourbon whiskey aged in white oak and finished in Oloroso sherry, Pedro Ximénez, and Cognac casks. Rich and deep notes of vanilla, citrus, dark chocolate, brown sugar and dark stone fruits deliver with a lingering, warm finish.
