Johnnie Walker Blue Label is blended to recreate the character and taste of some of the earliest whiskey blends created in the 19th century. It bears no age statement.
How long is it aged?Blue Label carries a mix of different ages, from the quite young to the very old. For reference, if you mix 3yo whiskey and 60yo whiskey you will get something with the taste profile of a 30yo whiskey (roughly), but legally you'd have no call it a 3yo whiskey.
Blue Label is a premium blend and its flavor profile sits around the
25-30yo mark, which means the Master Blender could use a variety of
different malt and grain whiskeys, with a wide range of ages, to achieve
that goal.
