John Watling's Buena Vista Rum is exceptionally smooth and best consumed neat, with a splash of water or soda. Rums up to 7 years old, for an average of 5, are blended together then married in American White Oak Bourbon barrels for a harmonious balance.

After its long repose in the tropical heat at the legendary 1789 Buena Vista Estate in Downtown Nassau, John Watling's Buena Vista rum is adjusted to 40% ABV for maximum enjoyment. The result is rum with the aroma of caramelized oak wood and nutty vanilla notes. Its taste is smooth with a soft warming finish. John Watling's Buena Vista rum is liquid sunshine from The Bahamas.

Due to the heat of the tropics John Watling's Single Barrel Rum is equivalent to a 15 year old whisky. Fermented from sugar cane molasses, it is distilled in a copper pot still and aged in the tropical heat of The Bahamas for 6 years in medium-toasted American White Oak Bourbon barrels.

After its long repose at the legendary 1789 Buena Vista Estate in Downtown Nassau; no sugar, caramel or water is added to this exceptional rum. It is bottled at cask strength, directly from the barrel, at 66.2% ABV.
Awarded a Double-Gold and highest prize at the 2019 International Rum Conference, the result is rum with multiple layers of aroma with notes of vanilla, apricot and dried fruit. The taste is smooth and warming. John Watling's Single Barrel Rum is “The Quintessential Sipping Rum."
