Product Description

John James Audubon (1785-1851) was an American ornithologist, naturalist, and painter. He combined his ornithology background with his love for the arts to create a complete pictorial record of all the bird species of North America. Audubon's most recognized work, "The Birds of America," (1827–1839), is a color-palate book depicting birds in their natural habitat. His extensive studies and detailed illustrations are considered some of the finest ornithological works ever completed.
