The inaugural model with its waterproofness, streamlined elegance and date aperture on the face of the watch, was a timepiece ahead of its time. This Datejust II is a stunning tribute to the history of this memorable line.
This Rolex has been carefully inspected, restored, and protected with an all-black PVD coating. The process involves completely disassembling the watch and placing it in a vacuum chamber to be blasted with a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating.
