Product Description
The JERN speaker is specially developed to work without a subwoofer, in small rooms or close to the walls. It's delicate and discreet, but it delivers crystal-clear audio quality. The key to its performance is all in its design, component,s and choice of materials. JERN is not a mass producer of speakers. Each speaker is handbuilt by craftsmen with decades of experience.
In Danish, "jern" means "iron", which refers to the cabinet material. Each speaker is made with a special grade of cast Iron (Vibrakill TM), with a very high amount of Graphite mixed in. The Graphite dampens the cabinet's vibrations up to 100 times more effectively than Aluminum, MDF, or wood. Iron is also much stronger and heavier, which also reduces cabinet vibrations, so you only hear the pure sound from the loudspeaker cones.
The detailed surface of each speaker is unique to that single speaker. It is just like fingerprints; they look similar but in detail there is no other just like yours.
