Product Description

After seeing The Beatles at Shea Stadium in the summer of 1965, Jeffrey Mayer began his longtime career in photography. For over 50 years, he has gone on to document the emerging rock scene and the recording artists who would eventually become immortal. This collection of photography prints feature selected works from Mayer's 2019 solo exhibition titled All Access: An Insider's View of The Rock Revolution. The photos in this collection have never been printed, and most have not been seen since they ran in rock magazines decades ago.

Jimi Hendrix unwinds after a sold out show at the Philharmonic Hall in New York City on November 28, 1968. The photo was shot one month after the release of ‘Electric Ladyland' the third and final studio album of The Jimi Hendrix Experience, which would be their first number one album in the US.
