Hollow Beam Boot Bench
Product Description
Although it takes from the Hollow Beam family name, this boot bench effectively resembles the aesthetic concept of the Cube Table—a finer and more "rough stroke" feel. The hand-tooled (sawn) surface in this case is all the more detailed, asymmetrical and finished with all VOC-free paint and environmentally-safe lacquer. It's a lovely, textured look that offers both an intriguing form and proper function.
In 2011, John Eric Byers (director of Jeb Jones) was included in the Smithsonian's Archives of American Art—the oral history program—for his contributions as a leading American artist working with wood.
