Iron Horse Vineyards
The Estate Pinot Noir
Iron Horse is one of Sonoma County's most beautiful, independent, family-owned wineries. It is located in the cool, foggy Green Valley, where founding partners, Audrey and Barry Sterling first saw it in the pouring rain in February, 1976. The estate, now home to three generations, was named after a railroad stop that crossed the property in the 1890s, until it was rediscovered as a vineyard site in 1970. Iron Horse is now renowned for its sparkling wines, which have been served at the White House for five consecutive Presidential Administrations.
