They quickly became the most important jewelers in the city and gained international notoriety. Today, Cuervo creates their timepieces in a magnificent nineteenth-century Swiss villa overlooking the shores of Lake Lugano—a gorgeous glacial lake at the Swiss-Italian border. This fascinating building has become known as “La Casa,” in honor of the original shop in Cuba.
