At the River`s Edge // Camille Pissarro // 1871
Product Description
Camille Pissarro (1830 – 1903) was a Danish-French Impressionist and Neo-Impressionist painter. Having studied alongside some of the greats, he went on to establish a collective of young Impressionist painters, becoming something of a father figure among the artists of his era. His work is known for it's minimal artifice or fanfare, relying on simple subjects painted as he saw them, rather than with the additional embellishments used by most painters.
