The entire company was built off a simple idea for a Bluetooth connected grilling thermometer from its' CEO, Chris Allen. He emailed his idea to Apple and received an enthusiastic response within a couple of hours. After a 9-month development timeline, the iGrill was on Apple shelves worldwide. Chris went on to design the iShower, a Bluetooth shower speaker and four new connected cooking products in 2014 including the iGrill2, a heavy-duty, four probe version of the original iGrill.
