Malcolm X 1944 Mugshot
Product Description
They fought the law, but this time the law won. Inspire the rebel in you with this premium, custom-framed print of an iconic celebrity mugshot.
With his family in dire economic straits, Malcolm Little began robbing food from stores in Lansing as young as 9 years old. Later on, in Boston and New York, he got involved in drug dealing, gambling, and prostitution rackets, spending much of his time in seedy nightclubs. At age 19, he was arrested for the first time for allegedly stealing and pawning his half-sister’s fur coat. He was arrested and spent 6 years in jail, after which he dropped "Little" which he considered a slave name in favor of Malcolm "X" and began his fight against racism.
