FAQ

Does this block outside noise and if so how well?

The Human Headphones chipset does support ANC, but as we worked through developing and testing noise-canceling we found that it did not perform as well as expected given our unique design and the decision to not employ the feature was made. The headphones don't create a seal around the ear, so loud outside noise can be heard.

Are these water resistant at any level?

Human Headphones are not considered waterproof or water-resistant, but brief exposure to rain and normal sweat should be safe for them.

Can you wear only one and leave the other ear uncovered?

Yes. Although you need to do that with the Right Headphone. If you separate them with too much distance, the Left Headphone will stop receiving a signal. It will re-connect when you get close again.

Are these comfortable while wearing prescription glasses?

We have found that most people are able to find a comfortable fit by donning their glasses first, and then the headphones.

Can these be used as hearing aids?

Human Headphones aren't designed for use as hearing aids but may be compatible for use alongside existing hearing aids, depending on their design.

Does the microphone have noise cancellation?

Each headphone features two beam forming mics which enable accurate voice-capture without the use of ANC.

How do they fit on your head?

The headphones sit individually on the ear root, like a pair of glasses.
