HorsCatégorie’s minimalist motorsport posters grew out of Jason Walley’s dissatisfaction with the overworked, busy designs associated with auto racing. The bold colors, and simple, iconic illustrations are informed by timeless design principles, and serve as a counter-culture reaction to today’s “more is more” attitude. Each design is carefully considered before being individually printed with care and attention to detail — on high-quality paper with a texture that gives their bright colors richness and depth.
