Every blade from Hood River Knives, including this Camel Bone Karambit Hunter, is made with specialized, 396 Layer Damascus steel. This steel is oil-tempered to 58-60 HRC for a beautifully lethal combination of edge retention and sharpness, that's never too brittle. This effect is achieved with a custom fusion of both American 1084 high carbon steel and Swedish 15N20 nickel carbon steel, then forged and ground by hand.

Each piece also comes complete with a buffalo hide leather belt sheath, which is handcrafted to the knife for a perfect fit. Each sheath can be worn vertical or horizontally, giving you complete control over how you carry your own piece of working art.
