This planter also includes 3 beech wood legs that are super easy to attach. All that's left is to place a few stones in the base for drainage, and plant your favorite green friend.

How deep is the plantable area?

The plantable area is 5.5" deep.

Do the planters have a drainage hole at the bottom or the poured water will stay at the bottom of the planter?

The ceramic planters do not have drain holes, but all metal versions do. We suggest adding pea gravel, pumice stone or perlite to the soil to help absorb excess water and help avoid root rot.
