About the Designer
Jed Crystal has always had a fascination with the way things work. Starting in his early years by disassembling the family phonograph, he learned about design by undoing. Jed continued his education by doing – making jewelry, bags, lighting and furniture, and earning a Master of Industrial Design degree at Pratt Institute.
Hepper is his latest venture and it grew out of a need: He had a house full of cats meowing for new beds. Not finding any designer pet furniture that would compliment his home, he created the Hepper line.
