Is the smoked Gouda pasteurized?

Yes, the smoked Gouda cheese is pasteurized.

Should cheeses be refrigerated before and after opening?

When the cheese is opened I would like to advise you to store it inside the refrigerator in a cheese box(Tupperware).
This way the cheese will keep approximately 3 weeks.

When the cheese is unopened, it is protected by a special wax cover.
This way the cheese is completely sealed and it can be stored outside the fridge 4-6 weeks, and inside the fridge for 4 months.
