The HC1, Happier Camper’s flagship design, was first created in 2015. Inspired by vintage trailers but outfitted with modern technology, the HC1 offers both a small footprint and ultra-lightweight design. With an elongated rear hatch, reinforced fiberglass, and many other features, the newest design of the HC1 is the best yet.

Light-weight premium fiberglass shell, large rear-hatch door, solar-ready ports, and a modular interior system that offers a growing assortment of versatile components and accessories—all in an ultra-light package, towable by most cars.

From camping, vending and hauling equipment, to setting up a mobile office, the freedom and practicality are entirely yours to enjoy.

With the unique Adaptive system, the interior is fully modular and can be changed on the fly to suit your needs. Because the interior is completely modular, you'll never be stuck with the same static setup. Modular components, such as the kitchenette and bed, are made from lightweight, durable materials and can be rearranged and used outside.

Do you have a layout or interior pics?

The layout of the HC1 is completely modular and can be moved to suit your needs. The components included in this custom unit can be found on the Touch of Modern description. Examples of the Adaptiv modular interior can be found on Happier Campers website.

Does this unit have a generator for air conditioning?

This particular unit is not equipped with an air conditioner. It does have
a fully appointed solar system that powers the camper's 12V power system.
Power is stored in the Lithium battery.

How many days off the grid can it handle?

This depends on your energy consumption during your trip. With regular usage (charging phones, speakers) and decent access to sunlight, the solar panels will indefinitely recharge the battery. You will not have to worry about recharging your battery daily!

How many does it sleep?

This particular HC1 can be configured to sleep 4+.

Does it have air conditioning?

This unit is not equipped with a cooling package.

What cars can tow this?

Happier Camper recommends a vehicle with at least 2,000 lb towing capacity. Please check with your manufacturer to inquire about your vehicle's towing capacity.

What is the interior height?

The interior height is 6'1". However, the interior width is 6'5" at the most narrow point. At the bed, the width of the camper is ~6'11".

Where is the shower?

This HC1 is not outfitted with a shower.
