GrillBlazer
Su-VGun Basic
Product Description
The Su-VGun is a high power propane torch designed to sear your meat faster and better than any other searing torch available. Use it to sear your meat cooked sous vide, flame your creme brûlée, or start your smaller charcoal grill quicker than if you were cooking on a gas grill.
This bundle also includes the Bottle Stand—a convenient vertical stand that enables you to set your Su-VGun upright, even with the propane bottle attached. This keeps the Su-VGun easily accessible while cooling down.
Note: Propane tanks and bottles shown in images associated with this product are not included, they are for reference only.

FAQ
There are a number of gas flow refinements that are not obvious that make the two substantially different. They all have to do with the desire to implements a cleaner, shorter, hotter flame so it can be used indoors in closer proximity to your meat that you are searing. You simply wouldn't want a 21-inch barrel and a 2-foot flame, searing meat on your kitchen counter.
The total BTUs of fuel flow (CFM) is considerably less so that the flame is only about 16" long. The output orifice is smaller which leans out the fuel mixtures as it increases the velocity of the fuel flow
There is a plate in the front of the fire bell that backs up the fuel flow, creates a corona effect inside the fire bell to completely consume all the propane for a pure clean burn and then forces the flame to be narrow hotter, and more focused in the shorter distance as it comes out of the fire bell.
Does the 1-lb propane bottle attach directly to bottom of gun, or is there a hose between them?Yes, the 1-lb bottles attach directly to the bottom of the torch. The 8' adapter hose is used to connect to 20 and 30-lb propane tanks.
On average how many times would a 1 lb bottle light a grill? If you're using the torch with 1 lb propane canisters, then you will get 10-15 one minute burns. It takes our torches about a minute to light charcoal or outdoor fires, so you're looking at 10-15 total uses per 1 lb can.
