What material is made out of and how much weight can it hold before failing?

The GPCA Carabiner is built as an EDC gear, not for climbing. But we did the weight loading tests on the Aluminum, Steel and Titanium Edition prototype. The result is amazing, the Steel prototype is holding strong at 480 lbs. Both Steel and Titanium are almost equal during our tests, but Titanium has higher tensile strength, it came back to its original shape in certain heavy-weight range which is awesome! in terms of strength-to-weight ratio, Titanium is far superior as we know.

Aluminum is a lightweight/ least dense metal but it's holding a stable weight at 170 lbs, it breaks at around 200 lbs.

Is this just the tag or carabeaner too?

This is just the Red Tag. The image shows the size comparing to the carabiner, but the carabiner is not included.
