Polaris

Named after the North Star, Polaris shines brightly amongst this collection despite being the runt of the group at 8.5" overall. Its blade is a little over 1.5" at 1.625" at it's widest. This blade is wider than most available near the tip, making it a great fit for skinning prey. Polaris also features a crescent indent along the spine paired with a single finger hold to maximize comfort and usability. With only 3.875" of usable blade this Karambit has a nice steep curve to it. The handle itself is made of Olive wood and is a spacious 5" in length, including the thumb ring. The thumb ring has an outside diameter of 1.4" which can accommodate for the largest of hands. This ring can also be used as a bottle opener in addition to being used for suspension from the neck, belt or even hair if you're naked in the jungle.

Being the smallest in the collection has its advantages in draw speed, ease of carry and of course concealability. Comes with sheath shown, but is not recommended for long term storage as leather can hold enough moisture to cause rust spots. This knife weighs in at around 220 grams, but may vary as these are handmade and no two are exactly alike. This Damascus is composed of 15n20 Ni blend and 1095 High Carbon steels. Every knife is sent with a care sheet to ensure it will last a lifetime. Caring for your new Karambit is as easy as cleaning and applying new oil/wax after usage and before storage. When cared for properly, this Karambit can be kept in gift giving condition. Each knife ships pre-oiled and should not need to be oiled again until after an outing, or several weeks in storage. Always store away from sources of great humidity to avoid rusting.
