Altair

Named for the Dwarf Star Altair, this Karmabit certainly shines brightly among our collection with its 9.1" overall size. Altair's blade has a usable length of 4" with a width of 1.75" (at its widest point) and will get you through anything from the jungle to the backyard. The handle is a nice comfortable length at 4.5" (ring included). This karambit can be carried and used in a variety of ways due to its unique design. The inside diameter of the ring is smaller than most but forged with a point for use in punching or cracking open fruits. The blade's added width and reduced curve make it almost kukri-like. Altair's spine is also tapered toward the tip for easy sharpening of a secondary edge, to make it even more deadly.

This knife makes for a wonderful EDC, especially when going on outings lasting 4+ hours. The ring can be used for suspension from just about anywhere or for utility purposes in survival situations. Leather sheath is not recommend for long term storage as it can cause rusting on your new blade.
