Vulcano

Named after the Italian island of Vulcano, this liner lock folder was designed with display and usage in mind. The blade has been crafted with a secondary edge which is purposely unsharpened, yet tapered to the edge. The untapered half of the blade contains some exquisite filework reminiscent of a volcano. Sporting red dyed Camel Bone handle, dual Damascus bolsters, and an easy open thumb stud, this knife fits into the palm nicely and also looks amazing on display.

Coloration may vary from red to pink, this is natural and is reflected in the knife pictured. The amount of red that penetrates and stays in the bone is entirely unpredictable and cannot be controlled. You may also notice different blade/bolster patterns shown vs. what you may receive. These knives are all hand made and small variations like this are to be expected as no two are exactly alike. Your unique piece will make an excellent addition to anyone's Damascus or knife collection, for both everyday carry and display purposes. Gozen uses high quality brass for the liner of the knife, as it contrasts nicely to the Damascus. The steels Gozen uses for their Damascus blend are 15n20 (2% nickel blend steel) and 1095 High Carbon Steel (~1% carbon blend steel), and are susceptible to rust like any high carbon blades. With proper care this knife will last a lifetime. Every knife ships pre-oiled with a sheath and care sheet, to assist you in caring for your new knife.
