Gozen Knives
Minerva
Product Description
Named after the Greek Goddess of strategic warfare, Minerva is crafted with a Brass and Stag handle. Our stag is naturally harvested from Elk sheds, and is not synthetic like some others. No two Elk sheds are exactly alike, so please do not expect to get the exact cut pictured. These knives are hand made and the cuts of stag will vary from knife to knife. Patterning and weight may also vary slightly. The spine features an indent perfect for pushing the blade with your thumb during usage. Featuring 7" of overall length, Minerva has 3" of usable blade with a width of 1.75". Its broad blade makes it an ideal pick for skinning. Minerva's handle is 3.25" in length and 1.25" in width with 0.75" of thickness making it a breeze to grip with the strength needed to skin animals. Absolutely wonderful to have when hunting! Each knife is shipped with a factory coat of oil and detailed care instructions to ensure your new skinner lasts as long as possible. Our Damascus blend is composed of 1095 High Carbon and 15n20 Nickel blend steels. Sharpening should only be done on a whetstone. Carbon steels have higher edge retention and require even less frequent sharpening than stainless varieties. Makes a great addition to your knife collection, and an even better gift!
