The Abyss is a slip-joint folder that works perfectly in the field and displays beautifully on a fireplace or desk. Made mostly of Damascus, this knife also features slender cuts of Buffalo horn. Each cut of Buffalo horn is very unique to the next, with grains and white streaks being more rare. Blade and bolster patterns are not guaranteed as these are hand crafted and each is unique to the next. The bolsters have been purposely oversized in this design to highlight the beauty of the Damascus, in a blend that is composed of 1095 High Carbon and 15n20 Ni blend steels. Each knife is sent pre-oiled with detailed care instructions. If oiled regularly, the Damascus should never rust and will always be as breathtaking as the day you purchased it.
