Since it opened to traffic in May of 1937, the world has had a love affair with San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge. This manmade monument symbolized the strength and determination of the human spirit, and has fascinated many with its awesome size and beauty. After 56 years, the severe winds and salt air of the open ocean had begun to deteriorate the pedestrian handrail, and it was replaced in 1993.
The slim profile of the Coffee Table utilizes the pedestrian handrail cap (top of rail) for visual interest. It fits perfectly as a subtle centerpiece to your seating area, yet provides a unique conversation starter when entertaining guests.
