Slender Frame
Product Description
Since it opened to traffic in May of 1937, the world has had a love affair with San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge. Built during the Depression, this manmade monument symbolized the strength and determination of the human spirit, and has fascinated many with its awesome size and beauty. After 56 years, the severe winds and salt air of the open ocean had begun to deteriorate the pedestrian handrail, and it was replaced in 1993.
The Slender Frame design is a compact frame that holds a standard 8" x 10" glass insert and can be hung in both landscape and portrait orientations. This handcrafted piece is from a limited-edition production run of 399.
