This chair is practical, durable, eco-friendly and was handmade in the USA. Conceptualized by Brazilian designer Ignacio Santos, it is crafted from durable wood and stainless steel, and built to last for years. Natural knots in the wood add a rustic feeling to the simple design, which continues to get more beautiful with age. This portable version of a lounge chair is very comfortable, and great for soaking up the sun or enjoying fireworks. It sits close to the ground (12” from the floor), which makes it an excellent beach or pool chair. And since it folds, it can easily fit into the trunk of your car.

About the Designer
Being raised in a family of architects, artists and engineers, Ignacio was always exposed to different areas surrounding design. He opened his own design studio specialized in artistic installations and worked in partnership with several international renown artists and as the director of São Paulo’s Bienal Art Foundation for several years.
